All of these methods of accessing the console mode or your client requires you to run the
game from the elementclient.exe file located in the element folder.
So go find the "elementclient.exe" file and make a shortcut to yor desktop or task bar
If you installed the game using the ARC system, then it may be found:

C:\ARC\Perfect World International\element\elementclient.exe
or
C:Program Files\ARC\Perfect World International\element\elementclient.exe

but for those who have been using the same old install like me, it will be:

C:\Perfect World Entertainment\Perfect World International\element\elementclient.exe
or possibly
C:\Program Files\Perfect World Entertainment\Perfect World International\element\elementclient.exe

You will now be starting the game from this shortcut everytime you play.
You can also open other clients from this same shortcut by:
Left clicking if using Vista or Windows XP
or
Right click if using Windows 7 and then left click the "elementclient" shown

**I have not tested any of this on Windows 10**

Also you should remember that this does not run the "Patcher", so you will need to run it after there is a Maintanance.
You will find this in the "Patcher" folder.
example:
"C:\Perfect World Entertainment\Perfect World International\patcher\patcher.exe"

I added a shortcut for this also, but I added it to my start menu to avoid any confusion.

=================================================================
1st method:
You will right click on the new shortcut you just made and select "Properties" then find the tab or section
"Shortcut" and find "Target", here at the end of the info in this box you will add "startbypatcher console:1"
it should look something like this:
"C:\Perfect World Entertainment\Perfect World International\element\elementclient.exe" startbypatcher console:1
Select "OK" and you are done.

1 Start the game from the new shortcut
2 after you have logged in press Shift+~ to see the console

-List of Console Commands are listed below-
===========================================================
2nd method:
Launch the game with console:1
you can make a batch script for that

1 create an empty .txt file in the folder where your elementclient.exe is located
2 copy paste the following code in it:
(this also bypasses the launcher)

code: elementclient.exe game:cpw console:1

3 rename your file to PrindaisamazingLauncher.bat
4 run the bat file each time to play (you may want to add a shortcut on your desktop to this)
2 after you have logged in press Shift+~ to see the console

-List of Console Commands are listed below-

A way to bypass arc defender 2020
Hi, I read your post but cannot find the 'elementclient.exe' in the game file. I suppose they have changed it since your post is almost 2 years old.

My problem is arc is not letting me log in and keep sending a PIN. I do not remember the old emails (yes I am a returning player after four years)

is there a new way to launch the game so arc defender does not bother me or a way to bypass arc defender?

Pls kindly help :)
